This week for our final Fanon Friday February, I want to talk about fanon you absolutely love in fic but would hate to see in canon for whatever reason - too cliche to really work, don't trust the writers, etc...

So what's a Z Nation Fanon you love to see in fanworks but would hate to see in canon?

This week's fanon/theory discussion: Pre-Series

We enter Z Nation in media res, and we do get some flash backs, but for the most part we are fully enmeshed in the zombie apocalypse.

What do you think came before - both in general and/or for specific characters?
How does canon go from the events of Black Summer to what we see in Z Nation? How much time has passed?
Are there any flashbacks you wish we'd gotten?
